A Dialogue with the Unknown
The exhibition „A Dialogue with the Unknown”, a series of mixed media paintings by Marie Klingelhöfer.
Her style doesn’t follow a fixed path. Instead, she works intuitively, letting ideas develop through spontaneous gestures and layered materials. In a time of transition, these works reflect a state of fluidity, a visual dialogue between the conscious and the unseen.
Through daily painterly exercises, Marie explores the edges of form and meaning, opening up a space where the unfamiliar can take shape. Each piece invites the viewer into a quiet encounter with possibility and transformation.
Marie Klingelhöfer currently lives and works in Berlin. Originally from France, she began her journey into the arts while studying art therapy. This experience sparked a deep exploration of her own creative voice, which she has continued to cultivate through further education with Thomas Kleemann and at various independent art academies.
Her artistic practice is also shaped by her intensive engagement with dance and movement, which inform both her process and thematic focus.
Marie works primarily in mixed media, with acrylic paint as her base. Where necessary, she incorporates additional materials such as stone flour, collage, crayon, charcoal, and inks, layering texture and gesture to create emotionally resonant compositions.
The exhibition is on view until October 19th. Visit by appointment.
